Morrissey vs Perrecy
Last month, we can see on the web, the best homage to a veteran of music: Morrissey.
It’s quite interesting to ear 4 Morrissey medleys in the Goethe language. The sleeve is a bit similar and you can find four titles revisited here: “This Charming Man” becomes “Dieser Charmanter Mann”, “The First Of The Gang To Die” (”Der Erste Der Jungs Der Starb”), “There is A Light That Never Goes Out” (”Da Ist Ein Licht Das Niemals Erlischt”) and also et the beautiful transposition of «Irish Blood, English Heart” to “Preussich Blut, Bayrisch Herz” – becomes” Blood Prussian, ‘Bavarian’s heart”
Look at the links here and listen a bit of this 4 songs on Perrecys’ website

THE DIY (Do it yourself)
A band called “The desperate bicycles” sung this song: “it was easy; it was cheap /go and do it”
You can also discover some new lp in La FNAC or Virgin store about the DIY movement.
It was this band, formed in March 1977 who they specialized to record single on their own label.
They expected that more musicians could be the same attitude to record their single with no money.
Daniel Miller from the Mute label (Depeche Mode, Erasure, Moby…) and other famous star of music made the same attitude.
Since their split in 1981, you cannot find any tittles from ‘The desperate bicycles”, but one man, Derek Erdman, collect all the songs from this band and put his collection in mp3 on his own website.
The history of music revel some curiosity and little nostalgic treasure sometimes.

The 4 members of Polysics, Japanese band formed in Tokyo in 1997.
Their gimmick seems like a copy of the DEVO image with a sense of transformation: Flashy fashion ’80 colours clothes, funny “disguise”, same typical surrealist synthesiser with a bit of crazy Nippon touch. If you would like to discover all the eight Lp,

They are the ‘father’ of the Alternative wave of music and some french band like La Mano Néfgra, les Béruriers noirs Have got their influence
After 10 Album they come back to play more politics and social critics songs. More darkness with a sense of French humour. They played with heavy bass and the string is very loudly and deep.
