-PARIS ROCK en SEINE!  New bands

What about the new Paris’sounds, did you remember last year, I write in our Newsletter about Plasticines phenomen: 3 girls in a glamour teenage schools, with dark long hair, and doesn’t afraid by all the popularity that they bring.
But, I have to say, that it’s not my kind of music, because it’s not our generation, their songs are too candy, simple and girlies… But their first album has got a really good sound, just because, there is a really good sound’s engineer!

New rock bands that I discover in gigs or in listening,

My best friend, the singer & songwriter: Philippe TRIOLLET sung a very strong & efficient sex & violence from our city life, a kind a revolution’s song sang in French, Spanish and English-

Gigs in ‘Palais des Glaces 1977’

‘Our first gig in Paris. Annulé car je n’avais pas fait mon service militaire en France! Après je suis venu jouer ici clandestinement, à moto, par la Belgique…’

Bataclan 1978
‘Une fan, une rousse sublime, danseuse au Crazy Horse, monte sur scène et fait un strip stease…,
Et nous voilà traités de sexiste !’

Théâtre de l’Empire 1979
‘Pour l’émission Chorus, Emeute avec les CRS dehors. Dedans, le public envahit la scène ; les techniciens affolés, arrêtent le concert. Reprise dans le chaos. J’en profite pour montrer mon cul aux télévisions’

La Courneuve 1980
‘Beaucoup de sang, de violence,. Un spectateur est poignardé. Bon souvenir aussi : première rencontre avec Mirwais et Daniel Darc, de Taxi Girl.’

La Mutualité 1983
‘J’avais invité Bill Wyman des Rolling Stones, que je connaissais. Pendant le Show, un skinhead me jette sa bière à la figure, je saute dans le public et lui casse la gueule. Bill Wyman est Terrorisé. Il ne comprend pas que nous assurions notre sécurité nous-mêmes !’

Zénith 1986
‘Au rappel, je fais croire au public qu’ils se sont fait avoir et qu’on avait joué en play-back depuis le début. Alor son joue un morceau, mais sans chanter.
L’humour français a ses limites : énorme scandale…’

Palais Royal 1991
‘Visite de Jack LANG et de Mme MITTERAND (the Old President’s wife in 81 to 90) après le concert. Je crois qu’ils veulent nous féliciter, mais non, ils nous disent :’Mr Sting est ici et il voudrait vous rencontrer: Ma réponse?! ‘FUCK OFF !!’
